I lost my daughter to gun violence on December 19, 2020. She’d just turned 19 on December 4. She was shot in the head by a boy she only knew for a few months, in his garage on the South Side of Chicago! The boy who killed my daughter also took his own life! I will never get the justice for my beautiful daughter Abby. She was taken from her family too soon, and our lives will never be the same again!
