Hello, my name Tamika Morales. My son Ahmad Morales was murdered in Philadelphia on July 3, 2020. His murder is still unsolved. He was 24 when he was killed.
Ahmad was my second oldest child. Ahmad was a barber and a hard worker — just an all-around good person. His smile lit up any room. I live every day with a broken heart, and I’m fighting for my son. I’m saddened by the gun violence in this country and heartbroken that my family and I lost my beautiful son to this tragedy. I will fight until my last breath for my son, and I will do my best to help fight this gun violence in this country along with other survivors.
