My life and the lives of my sister and brother were threatened by someone whom we had, at one time, believed that we could trust. The man threatened me at gunpoint and told me that he would hurt my family. This time in my life robbed me of my sense of safety and well-being. I am no longer able to take walks alone, and I’m always having to wonder who’s behind me.
