My little brother, sister-in-law and my unborn niece were tragically taken from us in one night.

In 2017, my sister-in-law and I had found out we were going to be having babies together. Our due dates were just four weeks apart. We were so excited; we started planning gender reveals and baby showers together. This was my third baby, and it was hers too!

My brother was my best friend growing up. As adults, all we did was laugh and joke around, anytime we got together. He loved hunting and collecting guns. I remember all the squirrels he skinned and ate when we were younger. We had so many memories together that I now just share with myself, because no one else would get them.

At the end of 2017, I was eight months pregnant and my sister-in-law was seven months along with our baby girls. That’s when I got the worst call of my life. My brother was selling a gun to a guy, and the guy shot them both in the head and killed them. This man took my family and stole the parents of their two young kids who were left behind.
