In 1996, Anthony was shot and killed — murdered in a group home, where he was supposed to be protected and cared for. In the years that have passed since, he has missed the births of his nieces and nephew, his sister’s marriage, his brother and mother’s deaths, and so many other major life moments that he would have given so much love and light to. His family was broken by his death, and he has never received justice.
