I’m a survivor of the Las Vegas mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. I was so excited to attend this event for the first time and thrilled to be able to be with thousands of country music fans. That night has changed me forever! Fifty-eight beautiful people lost their lives; over 800 injured and 20,000 with lifelong emotional scars! PTSD is real and terrifying. I’m so sad for all those families whose loved one didn’t come home. I feel guilty for being here and wishing I had done more to help. I’m angry that we have to fight for common-sense gun laws. I’m hopeful that we can help change gun violence in this country.
