Hello, my name is Skyla Pawnell. I live in East St. Louis, Illinois. On June 4, 2018, here in East St. Louis, my son Aaron Dominic Prayer was killed—stolen from his daughter, siblings and others who loved him dearly. It’s approaching three years that my son been gone. This has been a very emotional storm for me and my children. We live with the agony and pain every day, trying to figure out ways to keep others from feeling the void and hurt I feel everyday. I know at the end of this storm, God has something soothing coming. Hold on, keep the faith. God has us, even when we think he’s not watching.
