My Dad was taken by gun violence when I was 15 years old. My children and my grandchildren never got a chance to meet him — their grandfather. To this day, his grandchildren help keep his memory alive by attending family gatherings, writing poems, performing interpretive dances/songs and participating in marches and rallies for the prevention of gun violence.
