While preparing for an annual family / friend cookout, the Mikes (both high school teachers) cleaned up the property and took all the junk to the landfill. Returning to the party site, they met a 19-year-old former student who brandished a rifle and demanded their pickup truck. Eventually the former student shot and killed both Mikes right there in the street and took their truck.
