Chevella King

My name is Chevella King. On April 23, 2016, I lost my son, Charles King, to gun violence. He was murdered. It changed my life and the lives of his siblings forever. My life has been empty. It’s hard some days. It’s been four years but seems like yesterday. I have been advocating for justice for my son since his death, and for gun violence prevention and for gun safety and accountability with an organization called Anne Arundel County Connected Together (ACT).

Reacting shows support for gun violence survivors.
