Eric was a kind, intelligent and promising young man who was known for his beautiful smile. He had just graduated from Stanford University and was waiting to find out if he had been accepted into medical schools, including his father’s alma mater. He was inadvertently caught up in a case of domestic violence when he was shot five times. While this happened December 1988, it still brings heartache to his family and friends and doubtlessly others bound to the events of that evening.
