On March 7, 1988, I lost my brother to a gunshot wound. Kelly went to a friend’s house to spend the night and never came home.
Kelly loved to read, was extremely creative and was just growing into the person he wanted to be.
I am an adult now with two kids, Connor (7) and Reagan (5). My kids will never know their Uncle Kelly. And soon I will be explaining to them who he was and why he isn’t here anymore.
Gun ownership comes with so much responsibility. Proper storage being just important as training and proper use.
