Danielle Samone Harlemon

In memory of Danielle Samone Harlemon

My daughter Danielle Samone Harlemon, age 28, lived in Los Angeles. It was on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 5:10 a.m. Danielle was on her way to work using public transportation. An agitated homeless man started an argument with her on the platform. She walked away and entered the train and took a seat. He followed her and continued to taunt her as she was seated. Once she stood up to leave, he shot her in her neck. She was pronounced expired at the hospital. I would have never thought I would experience such heartache and pain. There are no words to explain what I and my family are experiencing daily. My life will never be the same. Something has to be done with the massive amount of gun violence in America. By the grace of God, she is now our guardian angel.

Reacting shows support for gun violence survivors.
