Eliajah Quantiz' La'Mont Samuel

In honor of ELIAJAH Q. L. SAMUEL Eliajah's Gift

My oldest son, Eliajah Samuel, was murdered by his friend’s ex-boyfriend. My life, my family’s life and his children’s lives will forever be changed.

Somehow, I feel this could have been avoided. The ex-boyfriend had many other charges before he killed my son, like attempted murder and domestic violence to the same young lady and other violent charges with other females he had prior relationships with.

I miss my son dearly. He was my go-to person, and I was his. I miss our talks and video calls.

My son was very talented. He attracted all kinds of people. He never met a stranger.

Eliajah was a very kind soul. Daily I put my works into my nonprofit organization called Eliajah’s Gift. It gives me purpose. I enjoy helping people and keeping Eliajah’s name alive. My mission is to continue his work through giving back and educating your youth.

Reacting shows support for gun violence survivors.
