Matthew was murdered on October 6, 2021. It was a normal day of work for us, and when the detectives arrived around midnight, I didn’t quite understand what they were sharing with my husband and me. He was my only son — 37 years old, father of four pumpkin heads, brother, uncle and beloved cousin. His friends could not believe someone would stalk, lure and kill him at a local Shell gas station. We are going to trial and praying for justice as the perpetrator was arrested, bail revoked, and incarcerated to this date.
