In memory of Eric Reyes Eric Reyes Foundation

On February 6, 2016, my life changed forever. My son left that Saturday morning to go have brunch with his friend. I was home; I heard four loud gunshots in my area. Minutes later, I found out that my son, Eric Reyes, 18 years old, was shot in the back while driving.

My son was taken from me; his life was robbed! Eric was a 4.0 GPA student and worked part time. He had dreams, he had goals, and everything was shattered.

Having to live without my son has been the hardest thing. It has been a hard journey for me. I am still going to court for justice for my son. There were three gang members that took my son’s life because he had a red air freshener. It’s been five years now, and I’m still going to court for justice!

I will forever fight for justice. I will not rest until justice is served.
