My son was murdered March 28, 2020, at the hands of two criminals who legally shouldn’t have had a firearm in their possession. I want you and everyone else to remember gun violence isn’t just an issue with assault rifles or mass shootings, but it is also right in your own communities.
My son was so loving and loved by so many from his family, peers, the youth, elders, community leaders, educators and fans. He wasn’t confrontational. He wasn’t in a dispute or fight leading up to his death. He was haunted and gunned down by two monsters that envied the love so many had for him. This hurts my soul and is something I’m forced to deal with until I take my last breath.
My son had goals and dreams hie was living out. He was planning to marry his then girlfriend; he was a new father of a two month old. My son didn’t live to see 21; he didn’t live to see his daughter crawl, take her first steps, turn 1, 2 or 3 and counting.
I would like to bring awareness to my son and the great things he stood for while bringing awareness.
Say his name just once.
