Our beloved daughter Kristina was shot and killed, when she was 20 years old, by a young man who was angry at her boyfriend. Kristina had a compassionate heart and was studying nursing at the local college. The loss of her potential as a caring medical worker, especially over this past year, is a loss for all. For our family, the onslaught of gun-related deaths and injuries in this country is relentless and oppressive. We know firsthand that if we can save just one life, then we have made all the difference in the world.
