On October 27, 2018, my daughter Brea was shot while sitting in her car with her friend, who was also shot, but on January 22, 2019, she succumbed to her injuries. My world has been totally destroyed because of gun violence. They took my daughter from her son, whom she loved more than anything in the world; her siblings, myself; her father; and all of her family, friends and loved ones for no reason at all. Until this day there is still no justice for her, for her son, for myself, and gun violence is at an all time high. We need to put a stop to this madness.
