Lee Andrew Williams, Jr., lovingly called Wid, was a son, brother, father, uncle and friend to many. Wid has two daughters, ages 18 and 16. Wid was the big brother of his five siblings. He would come to his mom’s house every Sunday along with his brother and sister for family day. We would eat and watch the football or basketball games and talk trash on each other’s teams. But Sunday, July 12, 2020, would change our lives forever. This was the day that someone felt they had the right to take my son’s life while he sat in the car with his friend, who was also killed that day.
Our family days are not the same. There is an empty seat where Wid would sit and a void in our hearts that will never be filled, ever again.
