Lewis Reed

I lost my brother to gun violence. One day, my father and he were driving home. When they came to a stop, a car pulled up and opened fire. He died, shortly after, at the hospital.

That was a moment that changed my life and my family’s lives. I had a job in the private sector, working in IT. That experience spurred my decision to go into public service. Every day, I work to stop the gun violence in the city of St. Louis. By working together, we can end gun violence.

Reacting shows support for gun violence survivors.
