In memory of Joshua “KP” Powell

Joshua Powell, affectionately called King Powell, aka KP. King Powell was known as a king because of his love for his people and community. He wanted to take care of his people, family and kids and show love to Georgetown. He made sure he kept loved ones’ memory alive. He started a transportation company with his grandma’s picture printed on the transport van. He packed the park in honor of others lost to gun violence, providing food and T-shirts in their honor. If there was a back-to-school drive or anything community you could alway count Joshua Powell in to donate or volunteer. That was his character, and this is why not only we the family of KP sorely miss him but community too.

Love you nephew,

Uncle Merv
