In memory of Michael Deppe

Michael stopped over unexpectedly for dinner on a Friday night. After dinner, we hugged, said our good nights, our “I love you’s” and went on our ways. None of us ever thought it would be the last time we would see Michael.

Michael was shot and killed by a 19 year old who had been out on bail for three years on gun charges. I didn’t think I could be any more outraged. My rage only grew as I learned how easy it is for people to illegally obtain guns, bypassing background checks by buying online….

I fight gun violence in honor of my son. I want my grandson to grow up in a safer world. I don’t want anyone to feel the loss and unending pain that each one of my family members feel. Please join our fight to DISARM HATE.☮️
