My daughter Ciera Glenn was murdered on October 30, 2010, three days after her 25th birthday. Her death has taken a toll on me and my family. She left behind a seven-year-old son whom I’m raising, because his father was murdered six months before Ciera in a senseless act of gun violence. Both parents were taken away too soon. A part of my life was taken away.
