In memory of Jamere Porter

On April 24, 2014, my brother Jamere Porter, from Chester, Pennsylvania, was shot eight times, also crashing his vehicle, which caused a pole to go through his neck. He was treated at Crozer Medical Center until May 8 and then discharged to Delaware County prison, where he succumbed from his injuries due to lack of medication/care.

He was only 21 at the time, having to leave behind his 2-year-old son, who he adored so much. He was the best brother ever and he didn’t deserve to die the way he did. Hope his story counted ?
