Losing a friend to gun violence changed my whole world. I never thought he would die that way. He had a heart to serve and be impactful. I remember the moments we talked, and visiting his job, and seeing a smile on his face, and making spaghetti for his birthday, and giving him a card and seeing his face light up. I can’t believe he has been gone for over 11 years. I miss him, I love him and wish he were here today.
