It was November 3, 2017, and that would be a day to be remembered as how crazy people can be. I had two neighbors, one on each side of me. My neighbor to the left threw tree limbs on my property, and the other neighbor (who I knew) put them back on the other property. That started a gun fight (I was not home but at my neighbor’s house), and the police came out and broke things up. I went back to my house, and about 15 minutes later, the neighbors started shooting again. I was in my house, walking, when I got shot by my left neighbor. I was hit four times in my upper right leg, with no damage to it. My left leg was hit with one bullet to the inner thigh, and that one shattered the lower part of my femur and put a plate in that area. I didn’t walk for about 42 days. I’m doing better nowadays and starting over.
