In memory of Cody DeLisa

Our 28-year-old son was tragically murdered August 14, 2020. The murderer shot him through his bedroom door and then broke down the door and shot him again in the head before robbing him. Our family is forever changed. Nothing is more painful that explaining to your child’s siblings that their brother is gone or watching your husband crumble to the ground in hearing the news. Equally excruciating is navigating the legal system as we await trail for Cody’s girlfriend, a woman that we trusted. Grief is so lonely and best explained by C.S. Lewis’ quote, in which grief feels so much like fear.

Cody, we miss your smile and goofy laugh. We miss your playfulness and your love of animals. We miss you!
