My son is Tyrone White. On October 4, 2016, he was sitting in his car in the Chatham neighborhood in Chicago. A male suspect fired shots at him from the sidewalk and murdered him. He was there being a good father, checking on his son. In today’s world, when they say black fathers aren’t there, he was trying to do the right thing. He was always active in his son’s life, showing him how to be a respectful individual. He did everything he could to be in his son’s life and the rest of the family as well. My son Tyrone missed his son’s graduation, one of many future events. Tyrone is truly missed by his family. I love, we all love you. We must stop killing each other.
