On March 27, 2016, my nephew Victor Anthony Perez was murdered. He was an awesome, smart full-of-life young man. He finished school early and was just waiting for graduation day to receive his diploma, but it never happened. Tragically, he was shot and murdered. He is my sister’s only child. His life was taken too fast from all who loved him. He was only 17 years old.
