I will keep it short. Sixteen years ago, my daughter was dating a young man. One day she decided to do his background check due to the fact that she was employed in a law firm. She then discovered that the man she was dating was on probation in New York and left for Miami. When she found out, she decided to break up with him. However, he had other ideas.
He went to her house, shot her friend twice, then executed my daughter with three bullets to her head. I’m still grieving from her sudden death. This man shot three people. Two of the people died; one was my daughter. It is not easy seeing children being shot and mass shootings. It has to stop.
