I remember the night of July 26, 2021.
Unfortunately, I was robbed and shot at three times in my lower half. The police found me. Through this event, all I could think about was to keep pushing. I survived three bullet wounds to my legs, including my artery being severed, and I am still able to walk.
You only have one chance in life, and the fact I was given a second chance is a blessing in itself. I never thought this would happen to me, but I survived and have continued to keep going in life, not letting this stop me from reaching my goals.
Not letting the past define my future in a negative way has strengthened me to continue to keep going. The past has created a better future and outlook on life, and I am grateful to be here after all that has happened. Life is beautiful!
